Everything you want from a 12" speaker in a killer design. We worked hard getting the hallmarks of Freda's exclusive Powersound design into a smaller box for those of you who love the big tones 12" speakers can deliver but still value a minimalist approach. This cab is a workhorse and our go-to cab if we have to grab one cab not knowing what tones or volumes or space issues will be required. Not to worry, because the Freda 1x12 shortbody can tackle any situation. Whoever second guesses you when you walk in the door will be singing a different tune by the time you're through.

     Texas Heat - very versatile, blues thru metal, good bottom, upper-mid presence s and wonderful overdrives.

Weber ($416):
     Silver Bell - warm, detailed, responsive to tone controls, classic
     Blue Dog - articulate in the upper mids, good cleans, overdrive, Brit blues
     Weber 12v - outstanding upper midrange breakup for thicker crunch
